Just in case you haven't seen any of this:

Season Ticket Plans

6 and 12 Game Package Plans

are out.

Also, while I'm here, it looks like the Devils are bringing Jim Dowd back to New Jersey on a tryout basis, as well as former Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Scott LaChance, also on a tryout basis.

Someone just posted on NJ.com that Reebok is having a 40% sale. That means that you can get a customized replica jersey for about $101.00. Pretty good deal.

Here's a link the hockey jerseys

And when you check out, use promo code: RBKAUGEM

I have no idea how long this promotion is good for.

I don't have a link to an article. I just read it on http://www.spectorshockey.net/ and it's on his TSN profile. Not sure if this means all that much to anyone, but I always kind of liked the idea of him sticking around in Albany/Lowell as a backup defenseman. Even more now, that we probably won't have Albelin hanging around.

Game at Tsongas Arena in Lowell is Sunday, September 17 at 1pm vs. the Boston Bruins.

Here's the official press release.

Now, what will be really interesting is to see whether the Lowell Devils fans-to-be cheer on the Devils or the Bruins. It's difficult. We know the Devils team will contain some of the guys who will play for us. But at the same time, we're in Bruins territory, and it's difficult not to cheer on the spoked-B (spoked-P, not so difficult. spoked-B, difficult.)

Regardless, the Tsongas is so tiny that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. With Season Ticket Holders getting their seats for free, the remaining seats are likely to go fast.

You all probably heard that the Devils signed goalie Jordan Parise, continuing the Devils' love affair with all things UND. Scuttlebutt has him in Lowell.

And from the LLM Yahoo! group, the following come about:

AHL All-Star defenseman Mike Mottau won't return to the Rivermen in 2006-07. He's signed a two-year NHL-AHL deal with New Jersey, which will pay him $450,000 with the Devils or $200,000 with their farm club, AHL Lowell. ... (I'm sure at least one other person reading this group is laughing her ass off at the mention of Mike Mottau. He's a, um, favorite, in a way.)

Also, according to various sources, former River Rat and Crunch winger Michael Rupp has rejoined the Devils organization, signing for the league minimum. He'll probably compete for one of the final spots on the Devils' roster, but chances are he'll end up in Lowell.

And finally, the fate of Lowell's favorite Lock Monster, Louie, was discussed in the Lowell Sun. In nutshell, the offical spin is Louie is on vacation. Thanks to spinographer Kevin Bartl for that one, I'm sure. I wonder if our Devil will be as much of a big fluffy dude (or dudette?) as Louie was. I just imagine him (her?) looking like the FreeBSD logo (except in skates, not Chucks).
